Jesse is retired from the Show world, But he is our main herd buck. Jesse is what I like to call a triple threat; he's a good show quality rabbit, a good producer and a wonderful house pet!

We can never thank Kim & Danna Klicko (Holland Haven) enough for allowing us to obtain this wonderful, handsome guy. He's more than just a rabbit to us, he's part of the family. He has a excellent overall show type and the cherry on top is that he is a very sweet, calm, gentle & an affectionate natured guy, he has passed that wonderful personality trait on to his offspring. Our dream is that one day we will win a Best in Show with one of his offspring. Jesse is definitely the "King of the Castle". He spends his days with me in my home office, I couldn't image life without him. He has earned his retirement and deserves to live out his days spoiled and loved.

Artie is not perfect, but he has some really nice attributes that make us want to keep him around.
*He has the BIGGEST head in the entire herd, but we wish he crown wasn't slipped.
*His ears are short, wide and thick and balance with his head.
*His body is massive and his bones are thick.
*His chest could be wider-which is something we have to work on in most of our bucks.
*His front limbs could be a little shorter/ankles stronger (his weakest traits)
*Notice he is the only 2nd Generation buck that we have kept to date-that should tell you how picky we are about our herd bucks. We have sold bucks that go on to win multiple legs for others, but as we learn and grow, so does what we look for a herd buck.

Paddy has produced Stars Hollow's Artie-a show winning  junior buck (3 legs) & Stars Hollow's Blueberry, a show winning doe (1 Leg),her littermate brother Bjorn (15+ Legs), Kilcko's Pinata (3 legs) and quite a few others out there winning shows for us as well as others.
Stars Hollow's Paddington (1 leg)
Black Torte
Sire: Klicko's Gr.Ch Jesse James-12 Legs
Broken Black Torte
Dam:Swade's Lila (Claire)

What can we say about our Paddington that his pictures don't say for him? Our very 1st home grown buck with good bone, cute cheeks, perfectly shaped thick ears, & excellent short thick limbs, need I say more? Ok, he has a ear control issue & a tight crown that we find enduring, but not always a hit on the show tables, but he is a keeper. Unfortunately he did not get shown as a junior thanks to viruses floating around out there (human & rabbit). His parents are two of our favorite rabbits, so we hope he will make us all proud as a parts buck.

He is proving extremely useful in the breeding program, we use him to balance slipped crowns, he helps add short thick limbs, and helping balance the broody girls! He is definitely passing on some nice traits to his offspring.  This guy is only going to get thicker and wider until he hits his two year prime age.

Those ears took 18 months to relax, but he was worth the wait!!!

Stars Hollow's Gambler
Sable Point Buck
(2 Legs)
Between the Lakes Show
B.O.S/B.O.V  7/11/2021
Fox Valley Show 9/24/2021 BOV/BOB

Sire: Klicko's Gr.Ch.Jesse  (12 Legs)
Broken Black Torte
Dam: Klicko's Bonnie (Sable)

Smut be damned, this boy's Head and Body rock! Gambler has matured into a really nice buck that i thought would only be used for the shaded project, but he turned out much better than we thought and gets used for more does these days. He is a absolute sweetheart! An easy poser, just a wonderful guy to have around the rabbitry.  We only wish his front limbs were thick like his half brother's Paddington's. I think they could both be wider in the chest-lucy for us we have does with that quiality to breed them too.

Klicko's Wyatt (Sable Point)
Sire: Klicko's Blue Moon
(Blue Point)
Dam: Klicko's Daphne

(Black Torte)

Wyatt is from Holland Haven, we're hoping to expand our sable point project, he's a handsome buck like his sire!

Wyatt is the sable point version of Paddington, short, thick and wide, but smaller in overall stature than Gambler.

Swades Adley (Alastor)
Black Torte
Sire: Swade's Clayburn
Broken Black Torte
Dam:Swade's Cristal
Black Torte

We are very happy to welcome this guy to the hers, his pictures do not do him justice, his head is massive, we love the short round, thick ears, his wide body and heavy bone. He was retired due to any eye injury, but as long as he can produce nice kits, it's not a problem for us!! He was one of Charlotte Swade's Convention hopefuls, that should say enough.

*So far Adley (Alastor) is making some really cute babies for us, and we'll be showing his 1st group of juniors

Picture
Stars Hollow's Arturo (2 Legs) Black Torte

Sire: Stars Hollow's Gr. Ch. Artie (7 Legs) Black Torte
Dam:Kilcko's Kansas Black Torte

We are to excited to watch this young senior buck mature. His 1st and only show so far he got 1st place solid junior buck for both show A & B. Not we PATIENTLY wait for him to grow into a senior buck that can compete with the big boys.

His front limbs very good, a goal we been trying to achieve. The judges loved his head mount, topline, really everything. He beat bigger, older bucks, he's not perfect but he's handsome and has serious potential.

Kane is a happy little buck. Not as massive as some the more mature guys here, but he is still growing and holding his own. What he lacks in size, he makes up for in personality-always sweet, easy going and character to spare!  He won Faith's heart quickly after coming to stay with us, and he enjoys the show table.

Stars Hollow's Samuel
Sable Point Buck

Sire:
Kilcko's Gr. CH Reno (torte)
Dam: Stars Hollow's Sia (Siamese Sable)

Sam is the 1st Sable Point buck we've bred and kept since Gambler who is now 5 years old. Yes-we're picky. This guy is cute but not massive like Gambler, but we have plenty of 4-5# does that can hopefully get us to that goal.

We added PW to clean up the smut, but lost body mass and bone. Years of back and forth with our tortes, Black & Blues will hopefully get us there.
